Nico Paz produced a decisive performance with a goal and an assist as Como came from behind to defeat Torino 3-1 at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.
After falling behind in the first half, Cesc Fàbregas’ side responded with an outstanding second-half display. Goals from Jacobo Ramon, Nico Paz and Martin Baturina completed a remarkable turnaround and secured three deserved points for the Lariani.
Torino Take the Lead
Como started positively and thought they had opened the scoring after only five minutes when Anastasios Douvikas found the net. However, the flag was raised for offside and the goal was ruled out.
The hosts controlled possession for much of the opening half but Torino punished them in the 24th minute. Kian Fitz-Jim delivered an excellent pass into the area and Che Adams finished calmly beyond Robert Sanchez to make it 1-0.
Despite the setback, Como continued to attack and created several opportunities before halftime without finding an equaliser.
Nico Paz and Como Take Control
The second half belonged almost entirely to Como.
Fàbregas’ side dominated possession, moved the ball quickly and pushed Torino increasingly deeper into their own half. Luis Milla and Nico Paz both threatened, while Maxence Caqueret struck the crossbar from close range as Como searched for a breakthrough.
With over 70 percent possession during long stretches of the match, the home side continued to press and never looked discouraged by the scoreline.

Nico Paz Sparks the Comeback
The turning point arrived in the 81st minute.
Nico Paz delivered an excellent cross into the penalty area and Jacobo Ramon rose highest to guide a powerful header into the corner for the equaliser.
The goal transformed the atmosphere inside the Sinigaglia and gave Como renewed belief.
Just three minutes later, Nico Paz almost completed the turnaround himself when a dangerous effort finished narrowly wide of the post.
The Argentine did not have to wait long.
In the 88th minute, Nico Paz found the net to complete the comeback, finishing calmly to make it 2-1 after another wave of Como pressure.
The goal capped an outstanding individual display from one of Serie A’s most exciting young midfielders.
Martin Baturina Seals the Victory
Torino attempted to respond in stoppage time but left spaces at the back.
Como took full advantage.
In the second minute of added time, Martin Baturina put the result beyond doubt, scoring Como’s third goal of the evening and sealing a convincing 3-1 victory.
What had seemed a difficult night after Che Adams’ opener ended with celebrations from the home supporters after a dominant and ruthless second-half performance.

What the Result Means for Como
This victory highlighted the growth of Cesc Fàbregas’ project.
Rather than abandoning their style after conceding, Como continued to control possession, create chances and trust their attacking football. Their persistence was rewarded through Jacobo Ramon, Nico Paz and Martin Baturina.
The standout performer was undoubtedly Nico Paz, who finished the match with one assist and one goal, directly contributing to the comeback.
For Como, the 3-1 win over Torino may prove to be one of the most significant victories of the season, not only because of the result but also because of the character shown in overturning a difficult situation.
